My life in numbers:

As of today, September 5th 2004, I have/am -

26 years of age. I've lived in
2 countries, and have had
1 marriage, culminating in
1 divorce, after
3 years under the same roof and
8 months in and out of courtrooms which gave me, alongside legal freedom
1 Protective Order (renewed as and when necessary) because of
Far too many bruises, physical and mental, to count.
0 kids, fortunately.
0 siblings either. However, I still have
2 parents, who live in England

So now...

4 months being myself again,
$not many left, necessitating
1 job.

I have certain non-negotiables too:

- Never trust a pretty face and a glib tongue.
- Never go to sleep in an unsecured apartment.
- Never rely on any man for anything.
- Never go back home to England, except for holidays. I was happy there - very happy - but I moved here for a new life. I still want that new life. I've just had one false start.
- Promise nothing, expect even less.

I miss:

- Decent chocolate
- Proper bacon
- Proper football
- John Smith's Bitter
- Proper English pubs
- English rain
- English TV adverts
- Mam and Dad
